I am seeking FT/PT employment and in the process of retunring to coursework (college) I have prior caregiving experience, including :Experience doing volunteer work for SFBFS playcare program, working in a diverse setting with 12+ students, aged eighteen months -6yrs. Doing student teacher work, in a classroom setting. I also have Early Childhood education units, in infant care and education, child family and community etc.i do not have a certified cpr license but i am willing to get one. Aside from volunteer and college coursework, i have a 3 mnth old and have also worked with family member children as well as someone with special needs. I do not currently care for any other parents children or pets. I have cared for children as young as NB-16 I do have 1 child myself who is 3 mons old. Prior volunteer experience described above. if i had a motto for caregiving it would be that there is a lot more to childcare than "babysitting", quality care means attentive, interactive quality care and a diverse, ability to respond to a childs developing needs. i am more of a improv type, very innovative on the job with games and activities. I have prior experience planning activities so i can put some ideas together through research if employer prefers. even simplifying to age prefference(ex: crafts, holiday arts)
