Hello, my name is Hang Pham. I am currently a part-time In-Home Supportive Services provider/caregiver. I have been a provider/caregiver for over a year and a half now. I am about to become a volunteer for a preschool program for the City of Monterey. I used to be a camp counselor at Whispering Pines Day Camp for the City of Monterey. I adore working and caring for children of various ages. I have knowledge of plenty of games and arts & crafts to keep kids busy. I am also very experienced in tutoring children in math and English. Other than helping my own nephews, I used to be a volunteer for the Seaside Boys & Girls Club. There, I helped some of the kids with their homework. I have also read to children at a childrens's center. I also used to be a counseling intern at Seaside Middle School, so I have knowledge of how to speak to pre-adolescents and adolescents. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading books, watching movies, and hanging out with my family and friends. I don't have any children of my own ,but I would like to have them some time in the future. I don't think of myself to be a strict babysitter however I know how to get my point across with an assertive tone. I like to think of myself as a friendly and caring individual. My professional goals are to become a public health professional. I want to help create more public health services geared towards infants and young children. They are at such a vulnerable age and they need preventatives services to stay healthy.
