As a college student and an older sibling, I know what a child needs and what parents look for in a nanny. I've taken care of children of all ages as well as children with special needs. I have a sister who has Autism and a mother who is a Special Education teacher. Because of that, I have been able to help my mother with her students from time to time and help with my sister. I also have little brother who I have been watching on many occasions, and he is now three. Since this is such a critical time for him, I recite the alphabet with him as well as go over numbers and colors with him. With children of this age, I like to go over this so that they may be prepared when it comes to school. I also let them know that there are rules, that way they are prepared for the school setting. Whatever the child needs, I will be more than happy to accommadate. I also have a basic understanding of Spanish, so if the child(ren) are multi-lingual, I can still communicate. I can also cook and clean, so whatever you may need should not be a problem. However, since I am a college student, my time is not as free as I would like it to be. I am available in the evenings, weekends, and certain times in the morning. If you are interested in having me babysit, please feel free to contact me. Thank you.
