Her love for all things dance blossomed in 2015 when she was introduced to hip-hop and step. As a senior at Denison University, her artistic journey is deeply intertwined with her passion for culture and society. With a profound belief that dance is a universal language that permeates every aspect of life, she explores the intersection of movement and societal narratives in her performances. She has danced with the Denison Dance Company and worked with renowned choreographers such as Ojeya Crz-Banks, Marion Ramirez, Eddie Taketa, Joshua Manchulic and others. She has performed in many departmental concerts, as well as student-led concerts, and informal performances. She has also played a role in organizing the 2022 Denison World of Dance Showcase alongside her hip-hop crew, IDM (Inspire, Diversify, Move). Her choreography serves as a medium to convey the complexities of human encounters, reflecting the rich tapestry of diverse lived experiences. Beyond the stage, she is a fierce advocate for sexual assault survivors, channeling her energy into awareness campaigns and support initiatives. Daily, she strives to destigmatize vulnerability and challenge societal perceptions. Through dance and advocacy, she aims to foster conversations that inspire positive social change and create a space where survivors' voices are heard and honored.
