Coffee Creek Golf Club is pleased to announce the creation of a junior golf camp, the annual event will take place during the spring break school holiday, one of the only such programs to exist in the Oklahoma City area! The new camp, “Spring Into Golf”, is available to kids ages 5 and up, with 2 different sessions and class times for participants to choose from. Session one will be Monday, March 19th, through Wednesday, March 21st, and session two will be Thursday, March 22nd, through Saturday, March 24th, with the 1-hour classes scheduled for 11am and 2pm. Junior golf camps have traditionally been held during the summer months with few options available during the spring. This program will fill that void for junior golfers and their families! The “Spring Into Golf” camp will consist of quality, easy to understand golf instruction, with a focus on fun contests and exciting games for participants to enjoy! Coffee Creek Golf Club is also very proud to remain committed to the smaller class sizes previously established in 2011, with a student/teacher ratio that is one of the best in the entire state of Oklahoma! A smaller class size helps to promote a safer environment, making it possible for each student to receive more individual attention and a higher quality of instruction!
Teaching the classes will be Tosh Hays, a veteran junior golf instructor who joined the Coffee Creek Golf Club staff in 2011 and returns to teaching golf following a two year absence due to a recurring kidney condition. Hays has been working to build Coffee Creek’s junior program into one of Oklahoma‘s premier junior golf organizations! The highly anticipated inaugural “Spring Into Golf” camp will join the already successful summer and fall programs on the Coffee Creek junior golf menu. Most importantly, the “Spring Into Golf” classes will provide an opportunity for junior golf fun and instruction at a time of the year when few options are available for a young golfer!
Due to smaller class sizes, spaces are limited. Interested participants are encouraged to enroll early to secure a spot. Parents wanting to sign up their kids can get the information sheet and enrollment form from the Coffee Creek Golf Club pro shop, the cost is $50.
