Blackmore Partners is searching for driven and ambitious candidates, seeking experience in the world of M&A, private equity and investment banking. We currently have openings in our 6-month and 12-month internship programs and would like to fill these positions by February 15th. Please send a cover letter with applications. Internship Program: Our internship program will provide you with an opportunity to break into this highly competitive industry and will teach you skills in demand by private equity groups, investment banks and corporate M&A. Our interns participate in a rotational program through all levels of our firm, giving you a comprehensive overview of how deals are sourced, shopped and closed; from start to finish. Placed in small teams, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring critical segments of the business, comprised of back-end processes (shopping deals) and front-end processes (sourcing leads). You will be responsible for executing your tasks, while monitoring their impact and developing strategies to improve effectiveness. Tasks Sourcing Leads Help Executives Developing Acquisition Targets Managing Relationships with Buy-Side P/E, and Sell Side Executives, Developing/Presenting Acquisition Proposals Database Management Heading Marketing/Advertising Campaigns What you will learn Industry Skills/Experience Database management Investment proposal writing Financial language and variables of deal making Learn industry expectations High touch/hands-on communication Confidence in communication. Presentation skills Understand what private equity groups look for in deals and staff Professional Growth Critical thinking Organization skills Leadership abilities Sales negotiations Account management (managing PE clients) Insight into the hiring process Develop networking skills Professionalism in communication Requirements 4 year degree Good communication skills Team oriented Desire to learn Minimum 3.0 GPA Ideal Candidate Entrepreneurial Adaptable to change BA and MBA in Finance, Economics or Accounting Understanding of financial markets Industry related experience 12 – month program applicants Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
