The Housekeeping Guest Service Representative (GSR) is responsible for maintain a positive guest experience by preparing clean and comfortable rooms within a given timeframe and in accordance with Red Roof Inns brand standards. This position is critical to ensure quality service to our guests and upholding our Red Roof Inn Hassle Free Guarantee while working cooperatively with members of the hotel team maintaining room quality as well as safety and security of the hotel.Position ResponsibilitiesMaintain positive guest interactions and provide special services for guests upon requestClean room to Red Roof Inn s set expectations (i.e. stripping guest rooms of terry and linen changing and making beds cleaning bathroom and vanity areas vacuuming and dusting)Communicate with front desk staff daily room info mainance cards lost and found items and any discrepancies between stayovers and checkoutsInspect room fixtures and accessories for proper location operation and function reporting to mainance and front desk any concernsRestock cart daily and keep cart and storage areas neat and cleanSet heating cooling equipment on proper settingPerforming self room inspections and accepting feedback from room quality inspections performed by inn management and trained team membersComply with all Red Roof Inn and OSHA standards related to safety and securityCross train in laundry mainance and or front desk job functions if possibleOther duties as assignedPosition Requirements- years in a previous customer service positionSome administrative duties required (timekeeping system rooms cleaned reports etc.)Must maintain professional appearance in Red Roof Inn provided uniform with consistly friendly attitude towards guests and staffMust be able to easily and frequently change from task to another and work with minimal supervisionFrequent lifting and bending requiredMay be required to work nights weekend and or holidays Pictures and contact info on Advertigo website.
