Tutoring wanted for linear algebra/cs229/cs106A @stanford.edu

Location:
Stanford, CA
Description:

Hi! I am a current graduate student at Stanford, and am eager to look for a tutor to solidify my knowledge of basic linear algebra (contents of Math 51) and answer my questions in the incoming quarter with regard to cs 106A and cs 229. Payment negotiable in line with market price. The tutor wanted: * majors in math/statistics/computer science or related subjects. * can be undergraduate, graduate student or professional who are interested in tutoring. * is able to meet me 1-2 hours/week at Stanford library before and during the fall quarter, starting as soon as possible * is comfortable with answering questions and instruction/discussion about contents of Math 51, CS 106A and/or CS229. * most of the time, do not need to prepare for teaching. I will learn the content myself and I only need someone to answer my questions that are missed in TA sessions, discuss problems in assignments and help deepen my understanding if possible. Instruction might be needed occasionally, but overall it is not necessary to give "courses" as long as you are familiar with the content of these courses. * do not need to have taken these courses, but it is highly preferred if you have. * if you are confident with only 1 or 2 of these courses, please still contact me and we can work some alternative plans out together. Thanks!
