We are excited to see our team grow by adding a certified HVAC Technician! Our Auburn, NY location is seeking a self-motivated individual to become a part of our service team. The candidate most suited for this position understands HVAC systems and has had a minimum of 3-5 years of experience installing and repairing related systems and components. Candidate should be familiar with working with 5-120 HP. Previous experience working in a commercial refrigeration setting is preferred. Candidates must also be able to use hand tools, testing, measuring, and diagnostic devices to diagnose mechanical or electrical issues and complete specialized repairs. Previous agricultural experience is beneficial but not required. Good troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn will also accompany the best fit for this position. Working collaboratively and independently are both required of this role. Our Field Service Technicians are expected to be able to communicate effectively with one another and remain customer service orientated. Daily travel to the customer is required, with occasional travel for projects and training. The service end of the dairy industry offers a challenging and rewarding career, where no two days are alike. This position will allow someone the exciting opportunity to work across New York State with a customer base that is continually growing ! Additional Re sp on s i b i l i t i e s : Installation, service, and troubleshooting of various dairy equipment Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery Communicate with customers and service team about status of repairs and maintenance Organization of a company vehicle, tools, and inventory Participate in an on-call schedule after the appropriate on and off-site technical training has been completed (typically 6 months to 1 year).
