Sommer Ranch is the birthplace to the first Pearl colored Andalusians in the United States starting with the progeny of our now legendary Bay Pearl stallion Bravio. We worked with UC Davis to help discover and name the Pearl gene. Since that point in time we have gone on to blend those pearl genes and add cream to the mix. Making for a beautiful array of colors reflecting the brilliance of the sun. Metallic Double Pearl (aka Isabella), Cream Pearls (Buckskin/Pearl, Palomino/Pearl, Smokey Black Pearl); Palominos, Buckskins, along with the classic and always beautiful gray Andalusians.
