Weddings are to meant to be "joyful," and my philosophy is that this is YOUR wedding and I do all that I can to make it special for you. I am an ordained minister with a MS degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola with a knowledge of diverse beliefs and a sensitivity to what you would like in either a small brief ceremony or a larger formal wedding. I have officiated hundreds of religious and non-religious weddings, LGBTQ weddings and uniquely themed ceremonies. I have also created personalized ceremonies with your input. I perform small, short weddings for two beginning at $75 or larger weddings ($150-250) depending on location, complexity and length of ceremony. (Precautions will be taken based on guidelines for Covid 19 to prevent possible transmission of the virus). I will be happy to assist you in planning your service and your vows if you wish to write them yourselves. Weddings have included traditions such as a unity candle, sand ceremony, wine ceremony, and a truce bell. I have included friends and family in the service to make the ceremony unique to you and memorable for all. Weddings have been performed in homes, parks, beaches, large facilities and churches. I do not charge for phone/text/email consults to obtain information about what you would like to have included in the service. If you have no photographer, I also take pictures of you and your guests with your cameras/phones at no cost. I provide a sample ceremony as a starting place when hired so that you may make changes or additions, with a final draft before the wedding. You will have no worries about memorizing. I am available on the day of the wedding to meet with you individually or together to review the ceremony if you are unable to have a rehearsal. There is a fee for rehearsals and for mileage. I know that you will have fond memories of the wedding that will last a lifetime.
