Hi. I am a former college professor, with more than a decade of teaching experience, who specializes in high school or college chemistry. I can work with individuals or small groups. I hold bachelor degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Kentucky and a Ph.D. from Cornell University. My standard rate is $50 per hour for single students or $65 per hour for a group (3 students or less). To make sure a student feels the tutoring environment is a good fit, I offer the first session at half my normal rate. Given the pandemic, I am looking to serve primarily as a virtual tutor. Sessions would occur in video chat (Zoom). I am set up with a tablet as well as a dry erase Rocketbook system to record the problems we work on provide for later access. We can also record the sessions for the student to refer to if preferred. Generally have an open schedule at night M-F and willing to tutor at various times on the weekends.
