I ve also talked to other women before writing this article and found out that they never or rarely see men in their Zumba classes. As it turns out, there are a few reasons. And one of them is that the majority of men are not just specific to Zumba Men, in general, prefer to work out alone. It seems that women make up the majority of most cardio classes. Actually, but not surprisingly, Zumba was created and founded by Beto Perez, an amazing Colombian man who knows how to dance. You should feel proud of yourself for trying something different than the usual. Think of the benefits you will gain by attending a Zumba Fitness class in New Jersey you won t ever have to worry about what others think of you. Zumba is also great for men since they get the opportunity to escape the traditional manly-man Neanderthal mindset that prevails in our society. They are rewarded with a fun, welcoming, safe, non-judgmental environment. You might feel self-conscious or shy on your first day in a Zumba class but trust me when I say that everyone s main focus is to have a great time. Everyone is there to learn, together. Give Zumba Fitness a chance, be a better version of yourself, even if it means stepping out of your comfort zone. In time, you ll become more confident, comfortable and secure, and all that matters is that you have a great time! Perhaps as a guy, you want to be the best in the room especially if that room is full of women. It took two classes for me to eventually lose my inhibitions. I began to dance like nobody was watching. I can t believe that I was actually having fun. And I discovered what majority of women worldwide already knew: Zumba is a fun and effective workout!
