Audition Workshop (BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND) Student testimonies on our website about this class For Teens and Adults 4 Weeks Saturdays (September 13, 20 & 27 and October 4, 2014) 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM $360.00 ($90.00 per class/$30.00 per hour) Instructors: Debby Schwartz and Rafe Serebreny Paid in advance prior to class This class will teach the actor how to audition professionally for film and television. We will teach you how to put a resume together, what type of head shots they are looking for, how to dress, behave, hold yourself, etc. Once you've taken this class you will walk out confident and able to go on an audition. Each student will get camera time as well. We will try to invite working agents in this business to explain what an agent is looking for in an actor, as well as the industry. If we can offer that the tuition might be slightly higher to cover the cost of the agent. Acting Workshop for Performing Arts Schools 100% Success Rate for Performing Arts Schools 8 Weeks 1 Hour Saturdays (October 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22 and December 6, 2014) 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Price: $360.00 ($45.00 per class) Paid in advance prior to class Instructor: Debby Schwartz This class is for students who want to get into a performing arts public school or for a performing arts programs in college (one where the requirement is an audition). It's for the student who either can't afford our private one on one class or prefer having to be in a class setting with other students that are going for the same thing. We will only accept 6 students. Voice Over Workshop For Adults 1 6 Weeks Thursdays (September 11, 18 & 25 and October 2, 9 & 16, 2014) 7:30 to 8:30 PM $180.00 ($30.00 per class) Paid in advance prior to class Instructor: Rafe Serebreny Most sessions will consist of practical discussions and instruction, followed by a recording lab. Basic microphone techniques will be discussed, but this is not a technical class. We will be recording and evaluating every week. basic techniques will include developing voice quality, diction, pacing, timing, breathing, beat and tonal quality. Sessions alternate between dramatic voice over for animation, video games, narration, and voice over for commercials and other presentations. Material presented in each six week session will alternate between dramatic voice over applications and strictly commercial voice over applications. Voice Over Workshop For Adults 2 6 Weeks 1 Hour DAY TBD TIME TBD $180.00 ($30.00 per class) Paid in advance prior to class Instructor: Rafe Serebreny Prerequisites: Voice Over Class for Adults 1 This class is a continuation of Voice Over workshop for Adults 1. It is a workshop class where students will voice an animated film drawn from children's literature. The class will cover creating multiple characters for the same story, recording for special effects, timing, pacing, and some background in how an animated film is constructed as it affects voice actors. The final production will be available world-wide on Cinamatique's Edge Network (on Vimeo and on YouTube). Actors will receive a CD with the final production mix on it. Creating and Mixing Multi-channel Sound Effects for Voice Over 8 Weeks 1 Hour DAY TBD TIME TBD Price: $360.00 ($45.00 per class) Paid in advance prior to class Instructor: Rafe Serebreny No prerequisites. Students will learn techniques of original multi-track recording, creating and mixing sound effects, "Foley" (creating synchronous effects like footsteps), and microphone techniques. Both mechanical and software mixers are covered.
