Small leak overtop of my furnace of my mobile home

I bought this home a few months ago a person I know just cancelled he was coming today to patch a small hole over top of my heater furnace we ate getting rain,snow. If anybody could help I believe I have what I need in my shed to patch up the hole so I can have heat. I am not worried right now if its a perfect job just to keep from water pouring in on the furnace, we need to use our heat during the cold weather.
