My name is Hollis Alexander. I am also known as the Life Insurance Evangelist. I am on a mission to inform and empower as many people as I can to be life insurance literate. If I can impact just one person this crusade is well worth it. Why am I on this mission? I lost my mother to cancer several years ago. She was 46 years young and my best friend. I remember my grandmother coming up from Trinidad to try to take care of my mom s funeral arrangements. It was a nightmare and embarrassing. I saw my grandmother beg for help from strangers to give my mom a decent burial. Fast forward and you find me in a depression. I started abusing alcohol and drugs. Eventually running the streets caught up with me. I was shot five times and left for dead in a stairwell in a Brooklyn, New York project. Looking back my death would have destroyed my small family (my grandmother) emotionally and financially. My family knew I was going down a dark path and should have taken out life insurance on me. But as many of us, we don t know what we don t know. Please, I beg of you that you take just 10 minutes to sit with a licensed life insurance agent.
