I have only had one job since my senior year in highschool, which was at Dunkin Donuts. Some tasks I was required to do: I first trained with training videos, and then a week after I was put on the floor to prepare drinks from what I learned from the videos. A week after that, I was then put on the headset/drive-thru station where I learned how to multitask in taking orders and cashing people out at the window. I baked pastries in the back for 4-5 hours, including frosting and glazing food, but very rarely, mostly when picking up a shift. I developed excellent customer service skills through greeting every customer with a smile, and handling tough conflicts with a calm and soft approach. • Although it was my first job and I was only working for a little time after senior year, I feel I gained a lot of knowledge. I would be happy to work here again.I really want to gain more experience in the drink/coffee field, since I take part in making these drinks at home myself. I believe I could be a good fit for a barista job.
