Hello there! My name is Katelyn, and I am a patient and dedicated elder care provider in Hamilton, Ohio. With experience in home care, hospice, and respite care. Also I was previously a State Tested Nurses Assistant that worked with dementia and Alzheimer's residents in a long term care facility, which I did for nearly two years. Whether it's full-time or part-time care, I am here to offer companionship, assistance with personal care like bathing or bed baths and hygiene of all kinds, as well as help with administering medications and CPR if needed. I am comfortable helping with all activities of daily living and transferring clients using a gait belt, hoyer lift, walker, or wheelchair. I am willing to do most cleaning (even deep cleaning in down times) and meal prep and can help with feeding clients as necessary. I will do any shopping or run any errands you may need. I have no problem transporting clients in my personal car to wherever they need to go. I am committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for my clients while also offering a professional level of care, and general companionship to ensure that your loved one feels supported and comfortable at all times. I love getting to know my clients and forming a bond with them! I am CPR and first aide certified. I also have a valid drivers license and auto insurance, with a reliable vehicle, can pass a criminal background check and have not had any traffic violations since 2020. I am willing to go to the local police department for a background check for a hard copy or send the PDF I have online. I am willing to take a drug test if requested. I can also provide references from my current job and long term personal references when requested. I am Covid and flu vaccinated and can provide proof, but have no problem wearing a mask if requested. What attracted me to be a caregiver was watching my mom take care of others my whole life and seeing the difference she made in their lives, and I've always wanted to follow in her footsteps. I love working as an at home caregiver because I get to focus 100% of my attention and love on one family, verses having 14-20 patients at a facility. It’s also very rewarding helping families stay in the comfort of their own home and helping them be as independent as possible. I charge $19.0 hourly and offer live-out care to families in need. I have a very flexible schedule from the hours of 6am-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9am-3 p.m. every other Saturday!
