PURPOSE: Assists the Chief Financial Officer by maintaining up to date practices, policies, and information on all Casa Alitas programs by analyzing contracts to ensure financial compliance. Oversees revenue and expense monitoring and reporting, leads program audits, tracks and monitors equipment, and provides program accounting support to the Executive Director and the Chief Financial Officer. Acts as a liaison to the corporate office. May perform other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Becomes familiar with each contracted Casa Alitas service to carry out compliance and quality monitoring, reporting and analysis of practice improvement Implements audits and reviews for all Casa Alitas contracted services using tools that measure program performance against established standards of regulating agencies Attends management meetings as requested Works with Casa Alitas leadership to coordinate and execute activities necessary for the preparation of external audits Attends site visits/audits with contractors as scheduled Develops familiarity with CCS electronic record systems and applicable information portals Recommends and provides staff training to enhance performance against financial standards and best practices Develops and maintains familiarity with current best and leading practice standards in audit/review areas to inform program recommendations May drive agency or personal vehicle on company business Maintains billing processes, data tracking and entry to ensure timeliness, completion and accuracy Communicates and collaborates with contractor payment processing units to resolve billing issues Communicates and collaborates with subcontractors regarding billing, payment and compliance with contract expectations Acts as liaison to Corporate Business Office for accounts receivable issues, monthly accrual information, expenses, vehicles and leases Conducts monthly analysis of Casa Alitas program revenues and expenditures and maintains summary reports Completes monthly/quarterly agency and departmental reports Designs and maintains databases and software appliations that are compatible with program needs. Implements policies and guidelines for management and archiving of case records Develops standard operating procedures for data handling and archiving. Provides guidance in identifying and defining data requirements for management review. BA degree in business At least two years' experience in contract compliance At least two years' experience in accounting, analytics and reporting Expert knowledge of with Excel and other MS Office products Excellent verbal and written presentation skills Knowledge of the practice improvement processes and compliance standards Proven ability to lift 60 lbs. 15% of the time Obtain State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass drug screening Valid Arizona Driver License, proof of insurance and Arizona Motor Vehicle Division 39-month Motor Vehicle Report DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Additional years of directly related experience Able to communicate well at all levels with internal and external partners Meticulous attention to detail Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities The above statement reflects the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job.
