Hello, my name is Jackie Larson. I am 23 and a student at BYU.I live in Utah right now, but I am planning on moving to live with my sister on Stanford campus in Palo Alto in the next week for the rest of the summer. I am looking for nanny/ mothers helper/ tutoring work. I am also willing to help with housework, running errands, or whatever the job may require. I love constantly changing environments and meeting new challenges. I perform any task I am given to the best of my ability. I am creative and like to have new things to do and be excited about every day. I love and connect easily with children of all ages. A little background on my experience: I have worked for the last year and two months in an elementary school as an Academic Intervention Assistant. I helped in assisting the teachers to have more time to work with the children who were struggling. I did reading fluency and also math tutoring. I also worked to tutor in the special education program (the less severe unit). I loved my job and the kids I worked with. I won an award in the last month I work there called the "Looking Glass" award for excellence in trying my hardest at meeting the needs of the children. I also worked in a place called the "House of Hope" which is a rehabilitation center for women who have been convicted of drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and child abuse crimes. It was a live in setting and I would help care for the children who were not old enough to go to school while their mothers went to rehabilitation classes. I took care of children from the age of six months to five years. I also have many years of experience as the neighborhood babysitter. For more than six years I was called upon to babysit for various families in the neighborhood. Tutoring: will negotiate price. For my asking price of babysitting: 8-10$ an hour for one child, 13-15$ for two. I can do detailed house work (cleaning a refrigerator, windows) for an extra fee. If you are going on a weekend trip we can negotiate a fair price depending on how long you will be gone. I would love to help you this summer! I have attached my resume a tentative weekly schedule. Please feel free to call my references. If you already have an idea of when you would like me to help you, please fill in the times when you would need me. I am looking for 30-40 hours of work a week, but I am willing to be very flexible with hours, and last minute calls if you are going to be gone for the weekend, or need to run a last minute errand.
