POSITION SUMMARY Performs maintenance, repair, and testing of various valves including relief valves, control valves, tank vents, etc. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Follow safety and quality procedures Cleaning, blasting, and painting of various valve components Operate equipment blaster, parts washer, torch, forklift, and other related equipment Performs re-machining or lapping of critical parts Perform field work as needed REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Must be able to read measuring devices Must be able to document and enter job data Strong mechanical aptitude Demonstrate problem-solving skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements for this position are typical for a mobile employee including constant movement within a wide range of office environments, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping and lifting 50+ pounds.
