This position will report to the Director- Sales and Service. Duties will include assistance with development of staff and customer development which will involve the identification, development, coordination, and presentation of training for Customers and Minster Staff. Job Responsibilities Assist with the planning, coordination, and presentation of internal and external training programs. Will frequently travel with service trainees and experienced service personal to provide On the Job Training at customer sites. Will work hand in hand with trainees to complete actual service calls, modeling the behaviors appropriate for an NP & A service technician, in customer facilities. Monitor effectiveness of training programs and presentation methods. Evaluate external training programs for potential use in curriculum for Customer and Minster Personnel training. External resources include: AMT, NIMS, Trade schools, ICS home study courses, etc. Coordinate information and support with other departments as required for development or presentation of training programs. Maintain Customer Service personnel skill profile system. Maintain schedule for Customer and staff training. Assist with the development of training capabilities and programs in response to customer and staff requirements. Develop distance learning strategies and training products as needed. Present Customer and Minster Staff training as required at Nidec Minster facilities, at customer sites, and other locations as determined. Projects and other duties as may be assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 7 years metal stamping experience with Minster products is desirable. Experience in technical writing, development, and presenting of technical training. Knowledge and experience with various training methods including: lecture, web, and computer based training, on the job training (OJT), home study, demonstration, etc. Experience with development of technical training programs through use of printed material including: manuals, drawings, supplier literature, other reference material, and through personnel interviews. Excellent communication skills and experience with presentation of technical training programs. Organization and communication skills to plan, coordinate, and provide training.
