JOB DESCRIPTION TERMITE ROUTE TECHNICIAN Pest USA is a family owned and operated growing Pest and Termite Control Company. Summary: The Termite Route Technician is responsible for providing a variety of termite prevention and elimination services in and around residential and commercial structures. Responsibilities and Duties include: Access daily schedules and determine if adequate equipment is stocked on company truck and replenish at home location as needed Locate and evaluate all bait stations to the assigned location using diagram of installation and/or manually using a location device Scan bait stations once located and evaluated Assist in Moisture Control jobs - vapor barriers and encapsulations Log any products used in the bait evaluation process Self-direct to appropriate routes Self-direct workflow once on scheduled location/assignment Comply with company and label safety procedures Adhere to timely schedule and keep appointments with customers Sell additional services to existing and prospective customers Keep company equipment in good working order Ensure company vehicle and is clean and in compliance for Friday inspections Assist with Pest Control routes as needed All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 18+ years of age (21 years is preferred) Possess current driver's license with MVR in good standing Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed Ability to communicate effectively with office staff, co-workers, and customers Exceptional customer service skills Ability to pass any state regulatory agency required licensing exams within the first 30 days and maintain as needed Previous experience in the termite or pest control industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the individual who believes in themselves and can exceed our expectations Physical Requirements: Work outdoors during all seasons in all weather conditions Able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and 50 lbs. on occasion Frequent standing, walking, bending and crawling as well as long durations of sitting if commute between customers is lengthy Pest USA proudly offers: Competitive compensation and sales incentives Medical, Dental, and Vision insurances Affordable Life and Short Term Disability Insurance Plans Supplemental insurance benefits Paid Time Off Company vehicle and company gas card Company cell phone 401k with company match All applicants are subject to drug testing, a criminal background check, as well as a providing a clean driving record report, prior to employment.
